There are currently six (6) levels of membership:

Membership Benefits

Platinum Membership AUD$18,000.00

  1. Restricted access invitations to private meetings with senior executives of interest when they come within Council’s sphere of activity and at Council initiative.
  2. Restricted access invitations to private meetings with Ministers and members of the Singapore Diplomatic Mission and other representatives of the Singapore Government when they visit WA and meet with Council.
  3. Display of corporate logo on some promotional material of the Chamber.
  4. Display of corporate logo in best available positions on Chamber website (home page plus profile page plus Platinum Member page plus strategic pages).
  5. Right of display of corporate banners and promotional material at all events organised by the Chamber.
  1. Waiver of registration fees for up to six (6) representatives to events organised by the Chamber (excluding luncheon and dinner events).
  2. Acknowledgement at all events of the Chamber.
  3. Eligibility for Chamber corporate travel scheme via its airline sponsor, Singapore Airlines at Platinum Member level (as upgraded by Singapore Airlines).
  4. Undertaking by the Chamber to accept only two Platinum Members from each industry sector (eg one bank, one accounting firm, one law firm, one property development company, one mining company etc).
  5. Right of first refusal to publish relevant articles disseminated by the Chamber, but precedence given to Foundation Members.
  6. Reciprocal rights with Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Singapore International Chamber of Commerce, the Australian Chamber in Singapore (planned).
  7. All the usual rights of membership and as provided for in the Chamber’s constitution.
  8. Inclusion on the mailing list of the Chamber.

 

Gold Membership AUD$8,000.00

  1. Display of corporate logo on Chamber website in a very good position (profile page plus a Gold Member page plus some strategic pages).
  2. Acknowledgment at two events organised by the Chamber (industry category must not be the same as any Foundation Member industry category).
  3. Display of corporate banner at two Chamber events of the applicable year.
  4. Waiver of registration fees for up to five (5) representatives to events organised by the Chamber (excluding luncheon and dinner events).

  4. Waiver of registration fees for up to four (4) representatives to events organised by the Chamber (excluding luncheon and dinner events).
  5. Reserve list “B” for restricted access invitations to private meetings with senior executives of interest.
  6. Reserve list “B” for restricted access invitations to private meetings with Ministers and members of the Singapore Diplomatic Mission and other representatives of the Singapore Government when they visit WA and meet with Council.
  1. Eligibility for Chamber corporate travel scheme via its airline partner Singapore Airlines.
  2. All the rights of membership and as provided for in the Chamber’s constitution.

Bronze Membership AUD$2,000.00

  1. Display of corporate logo on Chamber website (Bronze Member page).
  2. Acknowledgment at one event (industry category must not be the same as any Foundation Member industry category).
  3. Waiver of registration fees for up to two (2) representatives to events organised by the Chamber (excludes luncheon and dinner events).
  4. Eligibility for Chamber corporate travel scheme via its airline partner Singapore Airlines.
  5. All the usual rights of membership and as provided for in the Chamber’s constitution.
  6. Inclusion on the mailing list of the Chamber.

Associate Membership AUD$2,750

(Not for profit organisations/membership associations/educational institutions)

  1. Display of corporate logo on Chamber website in good positions (profile page plus an Associate Member feature page).
  2. Acknowledgment at all events organised jointly with the Chamber.
  3. Display of corporate banner at all joint events of the applicable year.
  4. Waiver of registration fees for up to two (2) representatives to events organised by the Chamber (excluding luncheon and dinner events).
  5. Reserve list “B” for restricted access invitations to private meetings with senior executives of interest.
  6. Reserve list “B” for restricted access invitations to private meetings with Ministers and members of the Singapore Diplomatic Mission and other representatives of the Singapore Government when they visit WA and meet with Council.
  7. Eligibility for Chamber corporate travel scheme via its airline partner Singapore Airlines.
  8. All the rights of membership and as provided for in the Chamber’s constitution.
  9. Inclusion on the mailing list of the Chamber.

 

Notes

Eligible applicants may apply for membership. Application for membership should be made on the Membership Application Form to the Council.

Admission to membership is at the discretion of the Council.

A corporate member shall nominate one representative but be entitled to one additional attendance at Chamber events at member rates. Should other personnel from the corporate member wish to participate in such events, then non-member rates will apply to those personnel. Should other apply for membership, the Council may, at its sole discretion, admit the second and subsequent personnel at an additional fee of $250.00 per person per annum.

A private individual may only become an individual member of the Chamber if he or she is a principal of or associated with a business that satisfies at least of two of the following paragraphs:

  1. the consolidated gross operating revenue for the financial year of the company and the entities it controls (if any) is less than $2 million;
  2. the value of the consolidated gross assets at the end of the financial year of the company and the entities it controls (if any) is less than $1 million;
  3. the company and the entities it controls (if any) have fewer than 10 employees at the end of the financial year.

All amounts are in Australian dollars and exclusive of Australian GST. If such GST is payable, then the Chamber will be required by law to charge GST at 10% or the prevailing rate, as the case may be.
