            Mr Alex Tan Tiong Huat, CEO of Cannacord Genuity Singapore Pty Ltd.

              Mr Alex Tan has been involved in numerous capital raising transactions in Singapore over the years. Some of his most notable IPO deals include Geo Energy Resources Ltd, China Gaoxian Fibre Fabric Holdings Ltd, Dyna-Mac Engineering Services, Maxi-Cash Financial Services Corporation Ltd, BH Global Marine Ltd, Artivision Technologies Ltd.

                  Ms Teo Yi Jing, Partner, Rajah & Tann, Advocates & Solicitors, Singapore

                    Yi Jing has been practising as a corporate lawyer since she was called to the bar in 2003. She has been practising mainly in the area of corporate finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions.

                      She has been recommended in Capital Markets in The Asia Pacific Legal 500 2013 which notes that Yi Jing is very dedicated and has good interpersonal skills.

                          Ms Tay Hwee Ling, Partner, Deloitte Singapore

                            Hwee Ling specialises in reporting accountant services for initial public offerings (IPO) or other equity fund raising transactions and comfort letter services for international offerings of debts instruments. These services require extensive management and coordination with various overseas Deloitte offices due to the cross border reporting arrangement.

    Over the past several years, Western Australia (WA) has played a key role in the Australian economic growth through its resource, construction and agricultural sectors.     Leon is an Executive Director and leads the Tax Division at Pitcher Partners Perth. Leon has over 16 years of tax consulting experience gained across a broad market spectrum.

    His own practice area focuses on corporate and international tax and comprises clients that are small cap-listed companies, large private companies as well as large multinationals across a variety of industries.

    Perth's significant economic growth over the past few years has provided many multinationals with the impetus to establish operations and undertake M&A transactions in Perth and the greater Asia Pacific region.  Providing tax advisory services to such businesses is a core pillar of Leon’s practice.

    Anthony Spinella is one of the state’s leading Commercial Property Directors and has over 20 years’ experience in property. Anthony is currently the Managing Director of CNI Commercial Property Group which he started in 2008 after identifying a niche in the market.

    He has managed commercial, retail and industrial properties of varying size and nature for a variety of private and institutional investors. Anthony has an in depth knowledge and experience of local market conditions and trends.

    Anthony's qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Degree (Marketing), a Diploma in Business (Real Estate) and he currently holds a Triennial Certificate. Anthony is a member of the Property Council of Australia and REIWA and sits on the commercial property management committee of the Property Council of Australia.

      • Mr Bruno Delfante, Manager, Business Migration Centre Government of Western Australia

    Bruno is the Manager of the Business Migration Centre and Business Services at the Small Business Development Corporation in Western Australia.

    He has a background in finance and marketing and has held State and national marketing and sales management positions in the private sector and government

    Bruno manages the State Government's nominations for the Business Innovation and Investment Migration Program and the information and advisory services to establish and develop businesses in Western Australia.

    • Mr Matthew Hawtin, Partner Steinepreis Paganin

    Matthew graduated from the University of Notre Dame Australia in 2000 with a Bachelor of Laws. He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment with the Securities Institute of Australia (now FINSIA).

    Matthew joined Steinepreis Paganin in January 2001 and was appointed as a Partner in July 2012. Matthew has a wide range of experience in commercial and corporate matters, capital raisings, mergers and acquisitions, mining and resources related matters, commercial drafting and compliance issues.

    Matthew also specialises in financial services, including all aspects of Australian Financial Services Licensing (AFSL) and managed investment schemes/funds (registered and unregistered). Matthew also has expertise in relation to the establishment of structures for Significant Investor Visa (SIV) applications.

    • Vikna Rajah, Partner,Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP

    Vikna Rajah advises clients on all aspects of tax law, specialising in contentious disputes with IRAS and tax structuring. Prior to joining R&T, Vikna was a Senior Legal Specialist with IRAS where he advised the authority on income tax, goods and services tax, property tax, stamp duty and estate duty and appeared as lead counsel at all levels of the Singapore Courts including the Court of Appeal.

    He was part of a special committee advising IRAS on tax avoidance cases (section 33 ITA) and was also gazetted as a prosecutor where he had a 100% conviction rate. Vikna, who also holds an accounting degree, also acted as lead counsel before the Singapore Court of Appeal in the landmark case of ABU v. Comptroller of Income Tax [2015] SGCA 4, a case involving exchange of information between the tax authorities of Singapore and Japan.
